In the marquee we’ll be selling delicious cakes in aid of carnival. There’s also the carnival market at the Piazza 10am to 5.30pm and don’t forget the football darts on the Lawn!

10am to 10.30am - Stories and Singing (under 5s)

Marquee

Our own Dawlish Library leads the stories and singing in the marquee. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

10.45am to 11.30am - Children’s Craft Activity

Marquee

A special craft activity led by Dawlish Library. Bound to be very popular. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

11am, 1pm and 3.30pm - Punch and Judy

Bandstand

The one and only Prof Pete Milsom and Sue Lee return to welcome you to this extra special Punch and Judy Show. Fun absolutely guaranteed! All the favourite characters pop up and there might be some newer ones – as Mr Punch says, ‘That’s the way to do it!’

11.30am to 12.30pm - Family Races Lawn

All the family can take part – free entry. From ages 2 to 92 – come along!

12.30pm to 1pm - Tug of War

Lawn - Arena

Will you hang on for long enough? Or will your team buckle under the strain?

2pm to 3.30pm - Junior Knockout

Lawn - Arena

No entry fee. Teams of 6 but if you haven’t got a team, no worries, we’ll sort something out for you. Age groups: 5 to 7, 8 to 10 and 11 to 15 years. Teams can be all boys, girls or mixed. 1st, 2nd and 3rd rosettes in each age group.

4pm to 5pm - Children’s Disco

Time for the kids to do dances, have fun and do the conga!

7pm to 8.30pm (approx.) - Adult Knockout

Lawn

8 teams of 8 will compete in the arena for prizes including for ‘Best Dressed’, ‘Worst Dressed’ as well as the winning team on the night. All teams must be pre-registered and sign a disclaimer prior to taking part. Sponsored by the South Devon Inn.
