About Us!

Carnival Week is more than just a programme of events. It’s an opportunity for our community to come together, celebrate local talent, support local organisations, create lasting memories and showcase the very best of Dawlish.

The carnival is organised by Dawlish Celebrates Carnival CIC and delivered by a dedicated committee of volunteers, affectionately known as the Pinkies, together with more than 80 volunteers who generously give their time to make Carnival Week happen.

We’re proud to bring residents, visitors, local businesses and community groups together each year to celebrate everything that makes Dawlish special. None of this would be possible without them and everyone who helps behind the scenes. Their generosity, encouragement and commitment allow us to continue this much-loved tradition year after year.
