Sadly the Spitfire flypast from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight has now been cancelled due to the weather. We hope to re-schedule it for the 2024 Carnival
AIMS will be doing refreshments in the marquee until 2.30pm in the afternoon today.
It’s also the last day to visit the Carnival market and loads of time to see the variety of stalls between 10am to 9pm. Organisations with vehicles on the Lawn today are with the theme of ‘Blue Light Day’ so we have lots of things to see!

It’s our second community parade, so it’s a little different with fewer floats and a walking parade. We invite you to come and walk with us in the parade. There’s no judging this year but individuals will get rosettes for taking part with special organisational rosettes too. The parade will still entertain you and bring smiles to faces with a few surprises.
If you want to see Spark! they will join the parade along Old Town Street due to the length of the parade route.
Route and approximate timings:
Start from 7.15pm John Nash Drive, 7.30pm Church Street, 7.45pm Old Town Street/Park Road, 8pm Queen Street/The Strand, 8.15/30pm Tuck’s Plot and ends on the Brunswick Place.
Please note timings may change and are approximate as we will not know the exact number of parade entries until the day.
