Day 6 and it’s a busy day with the DUCK RACE, children’s fancy dress and a full day in the Marquee.

Come on down in the evening (6.45pm) for an evening of song, followed by Rusty the drag queen.

And of course why not pop along to Carnival market at the Piazza 10am to 5.30pm.

11am to 4pm - Dawlish Local History Group and Dawlish Stamp Club Display

11am to 3pm - Circus Skills

Back Lawn

A second day to enjoy the circus skills workshop which returns to Carnival! Lots of fun to be had – so don’t miss out.

11am to 11.45am - Sasha Moyes


We are delighted to welcome Sasha Moyes to the Carnival for the first time as we know it will be a fantastic set.

12noon - Duck Race


Buy your ticket throughout the week at the Information Stall or from our special duck sellers – you can’t miss them! Only £1.

1pm to 1.15pm - Prize Giving


Prizes for the art competition will be awarded at the bandstand by the Mayor of Dawlish Cllr Lisa Mayne.

1.15pm to 2pm - Sasha Moyes


A second musical set from the wonderful Sasha!

2pm to 3pm - Local History Talk


The intriguing story of a seaside town. A light-hearted talk on how the Georgians fell in love with Dawlish and Brunel later shaped its growth by local historian David Force. Free.

2.30pm to 3.30pm - Children’s Fancy Dress

Lawn - Arena

Humorous and decorative categories in each group – ages: 5 and under, 6 to 8 years, 9 and over, pairs, grouped and wheeled. Judging also for the overall most decorative and most humorous. Rosettes to be won. Free to enter.

6.45pm for 7pm - Musicals and Singalong by Marilyn and Friends


Due to the massive success last year and at the Jubilee, Marilyn and Friends are back. Come along with your own snacks and drinks. Going to be a great evening! Free.

9pm (approx.) - And now for something different!


Rusty the drag queen joins us for a fun end to the evening.
