In the Marquee, AIMS will be selling delicious cakes. AIMS is a fantastic group that provides activity sessions every Saturday in Dawlish for children with special needs and their families.

Don’t forget to see the Carnival Ditto House too! There’s also the Carnival Market at the Piazza and Football Darts on the Back Lawn!

10am to 10.30am – Stories and Singing (under 5’s) – MARQUEE
The one and only Dawlish Library leads the stories and singing in the Marquee. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

10.45am to 11.30am – Children’s Craft Activity – MARQUEE
A special craft activity led by Dawlish Library. Bound to be very popular. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

11.30am to 12.30pm – Family Races – LAWN – ARENA
All the family can take part – free entry. Local Scoop vouchers to the winners of races, along with our popular Carnival rosettes.

12.30pm to 1pm – Tug of War LAWN – ARENA
Will you hang on for long enough? Or will your team buckle under the strain?

1pm to 2.30pm – Step 2 Starz – LAWN – ARENA
Should be a great session of dance to watch – and there may be an opportunity to join in.

2pm to 3pm – Owls R Us – MARQUEE
Listen to a talk from Owls R Us and see some of the owls close up. Learn how they are looked after and cared for.

2.30pm to 4pm – Junior Knockout – LAWN – ARENA
No entry fee. Bring your team of 6 to the Lawn to give this a try.
Age groups: 5 to 7, 8 to 10 and 11 to 15 years.
Teams can be all boys, girls or mixed.
1st, 2nd and 3rd rosettes in each age group.
1st place also win Local Scoop vouchers.

3.30pm to 4.30pm – Local History Talk – MARQUEE
Dawlish and Dawlish Warren as 20th Century Seaside Resorts with local historian David Force. A fascinating and light-hearted talk on the growth of Dawlish and the birth of Dawlish Warren from 1900 onwards. Not to be missed by anyone who loves the area!
